Towards a Black University, Revisited.

The Kwame Ture Society convenes a community discussion to explore the concept, history, reality and ideal of the black university as institution. April 5th at Howard University. Panelists include Dr. Greg Carr, Dr. Asa Hillard, Dr. Ronald Waters and Agyei Akoto. The upcoming event was inspired by the 1968 conference by the same name, which also took place at Howard University. The 1968 conference led to student protests and civil disobedience actions that would shake up Howard and Washington, DC. Can't wait to see what happens after this one. But first things first...
